MONEL ® 190 electrode
The MONEL 190 welding rod can be applied to the manual arc welding of MONEL400, r-405 and k-500 alloys, as well as the surface surfacing of steel. The metal is resistant to seawater, salt, and an erosion of acid. The welds formed by this kind of welding rod can meet the exacting X-ray radiographic inspection requirements. To be sure, while using this electrode welding MONEL alloy K - 500 can form joint performance, but is different from the parent metal, weld filler metal can't age hardening effect, so the relative intensity is low. The MONEL190 electrode has a wide range of applications to be used for welding of foreign materials such as MONEL nickel-copper alloy and welding of carbon steel, low alloy steel, copper and copper nickel alloys.

MONEL 190焊条可应用于MONEL400，R-405和K-500合金的手工电弧焊中，也可用于钢的表面堆焊。这种金属可抵抗海水，盐类以及还原酸性物质的侵蚀。用这种焊条形成的焊缝能满足苛刻的X射线照相探伤要求。需要说明的是，虽然用这种焊条焊接MONEL K-500合金可形成性能优异的接头，但与母材不同的是，焊缝填充金属不能产生时效硬化效果，所以相对强度较低。MONEL190焊条具有广泛的应用范围可以用于异种材料的焊接，如MONEL镍－铜合金与碳钢、低合金钢、铜及铜镍合金的焊接。
